Akureyri TM4 transnational meeting
Most partners were able to travel to Akureyri, but our two participants from Ireland attended through telepresence robots. The University of Akureyri has ten telepresence robots that can be used both for students and staff to attend classes, teach classes or attend meetings.
Since it has been almost two years since the project partners met in person there was a lot to work on, even though there have been many online meetings it is always different to meet in person. The partners really enjoyed each other's company and got to catch up on lost time and strengthen relationships.
The work focused on presenting and seeing a testing plan for the CUTE Roadmap app (IO2) lead by University of Murcia (UM). Sharing our knowledge on our current and upcoming Actions in IO3 and planning the setup of our Toolkit (IO4). The partners worked both as a whole group and in smaller groups. The visiting partners also got at chance to see some of the streaming and studio setups at University of Akureyri.
We were so lucky to meet President of Iceland Guðni Th. Jóhannesson in Húsavík. He was kind enough to join us in a photo and listen to a brief explanation about The CUTE project. The President told us he is a professor on a leave from The University of Iceland and was therefore really interested in learning about our project and how it will benefit institutions in the near future.
